 Scott
A. Yoffe -
Company Owner/Entertainer/Event Coordinator
Scott
resides in Upland, is married and has four children. He
has spent the last three years learning the various
aspects of the special event industry as a catering
manager. In October 2003, he is back
to doing entertainment exclusively.
Here is how it began for him. What started
out over thirteen years ago helping a friend who
owned a small little DJ company has changed his
life completely. Back then, he knew nothing
about the entertainment field except what he had
read about. He was accidently thrown
into a wedding one evening. Scott was
asked to set up for another DJ company because their
DJ was running late. They gave him all
the equipment and music so he agreed and was going
to leave upon the DJ arriving. The only
problem was the other DJ never showed up. Although
feeling somewhat in a panic, he didn't want the
couples wedding reception to be ruined so he decided
to handle the problem. He met with the
Bride and Groom briefly and discussed the problem
and explained he would do whatever he could to make
the party sucessful. He ended up providing
entertainment for the event and at the end of the
wedding reception, he was thanked by the couple
for doing a great job. Another couple
asked if he would do their wedding the following
year as they had a great time also. Scott
had never provided music prior to this for anyone. Hence,
this is how he got started.
Prior to moving into the entertainment field, he
was a police officer. While trying to
make a living as a police officer, he decided to
started his own small entertainment company while
working as a D.A.R.E. Officer. He took
out a loan and purchased everything necessary to
get started. He had the opportunity to
get to know many of the residents and business people
in the city due to his police work and involvement
in the community. He began by doing smaller
events (Birthdays, Service Club Events, Weddings)
and over the course of several years, his business
grew and became so busy he eventually retired from
the police department. His small little
company now had eight full time Disc Jockeys/Emcees
who work exclusively for his company. Entertainment
Express handles over one hundred thirty weddings
a year on top of the other special events they do.
His company has provided entertainment service for
corporations such as Toyota, Volkswagen of America,
Sheraton, Hilton Hotels, HCI, California Credit
Unions, and numerous other major companies.
Scott believes his main asset is the people who
work with him. Without them, the company would be
very limited in the work they do. Each
member of his staff is dedicated to providing the
highest quality entertainment to the clients.
Scott believes that providing clients with outstanding
customer service, listening and being responsive
to the needs of the clients, and attention to details
are the key factors in his company's success. Exceeding
his clients expectations is what they strive to
achieve with each event they do.
As Scott says, "Choosing an entertainer for
your event is like choosing who you will marry,
it's best to do it right the first time. We
never get a second chance to make a first impression. We
understand that each and everytime we perform, we
create memories"
Scott donates his services to several charities
each year including the American Cancer Society. He
is actively involved in the American Disc Jockey
Association and enjoys helping people.
Entertainment and entertaining is Scotts passion. Once

Lawrence -
Disc Jockey/Master of Ceremonies
Shawn
Lawrence started with our company in 1996. Since
that time, he has provided entertainment for over
400 special events including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs,
company / corporate Parties, Birthdays, and many other
special occasions.
Shawn has a musical knowledge that is incredible. His
ability to involve the guests in the festivities and
create just the right mix of enertainment has resulted
in outstanding reviews by the clients he serves. Shawn
has many talents. He is currently a mascot
for a professional sports team and teaches classes
on becoming a team mascot. He is an accomplished
dancer and sometimes teaches specific dances when
requested by clients. Shawns says, "My
favorite type of event is where the guests get involved

 Heather
Wile -
Disc Jockey/Master of Ceremonies/Singer
Heather
has been with our company since 1999. She
is an accomplished singer who spent a few months in
2002 singing professionally on the east coast. Heather
enjoys creating the right mix of music so guests will
enjoy themselves. She spends the majority
of her time working with us, but occasionally flies
up to Las Vegas for singing engagements. Heathers
beauty, style, and unique personality add to her incredible
talent as a mobile disc jockey and emcee.
Heather say's, "I enjoy providing entertainment
for Weddings and Receptions more than any other type
of events. The excitement, beauty, and
anticipation of weddings create a magical feeling.
When the wedding reception comes to an end and the
Bride and Groom come over to thank you for making
their wedding day so special, you get a great feeling
in your heart knowing that you played an important
role in the success of their event".

 Jason
Smith -
Disc Jockey/Master of Ceremonies
Jason
has been with our company for the past three years. He
is a dedicated employee who is always coming up with
innovative and creative ideas to keep our company
on the cutting edge. Jason has a real talent
in being able to emcee and coordinate all aspects
of a clients special occasion. As stated
by numerous clients, "Jason was instrumental
in keeping our event on task and helping create just
the right atmosphere for us". He has
receive glowing reviews from clients he has worked
with.
Jason is a student at Cal Poly and has many hobbies. He
enjoys music, backpacking trips, and was an eagle
scout years ago. He is a natural when it
comes to entertaining guests and loves to get everyone
involved in the activities. Jason say's,
"I love to get up in front of people and show
them how to have fun with interactive activities. Once
they get involved, it is usually hard to get them
to sit down. I am just their to guide and
prompt them a little. Then everyone has
a great time".

Stach -
Disc Jockey
Steve
has been in the music field for the past eight years. He
started playing guitar in a band and has since moved
into a different realm as a mobile disc jockey. Steve
thrives on watching the various guests at special
events get very involved in the party. He
is skilled at knowing just what to play at the right
time.
He looks forward to working the various special events
our company does each week and enjoys the challenge
of involving everyone in the festivities. Invite
